How to: Copy a query.
Solution:
Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy' then paste the query into the same database or a different database.
1) If the Database window in not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Queries' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the query to copy from the list. (The selected query is highlighted.)
4) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy'. (The selected query is copied to the Clipboard.)
5) Do the following to copy the query to the same database:
a) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'. (The Paste As dialog box appears.)
b) Type a name for the query in the 'Query Name' box.

c) Click 'OK'.
6) Do the following to copy the query to a different database:
a) With the Database window displayed, select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to close the open database.
b) Open the database to which to copy the query:
1] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Open Database...'. (The Open dialog box appears.)
2] Select the folder containing the desired database from the 'Look in' drop-down list.
3] Select the desired database from the 'Look in' list.
4] Click 'Open'. (The desired database opens.)
c) If the Database window in not active, activate the Database window.
d) Make sure the Database window is displayed.
e) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'. (The Paste As dialog box appears.)
f) Type the desired query name.
g) Click 'OK'. (The query appears in the Database window.)
NOTE: When a query is copied, any properties associated with the query are also copied.
